Gold beach Oregon

Just at the south end of the Oregon coast, you will find tiny Gold Beach.  We are called the gold coast because of the sunshine most of the year, and the flecks of gold that can still be found in the sand of our wide sand beaches, gold that flows to the beach from the famous Rogue River that spills into the ocean right in our little town.

Enjoy eight months of sunshine, find multiple golf courses (including the famous Bandon Dunes just 60 miles to the north), the ancient Redwood forest lying just 60 miles to the south.  Explore our quiet beaches for treasures swept from the river and the sea, spend the day horseback riding on the beac

h just a few miles from Sebastian Shores. 

Watch the windsurfers at famous Myers Beach just 6 miles to the south, or ride those waves in the little cove yourself!

Enjoy the jet boats that take passengers up the famous Rogue River just at Gold Beach, hike the many trails that wind through forest and sea.
